He used the last of his cash reserves to purchase a business of which he admittedly had little knowledge. In just six years, top-line sales doubled and profitability tripled — all with the same small workforce of 13 loyal and dedicated employees.
Altman’s experience as both business buyer and seller helped him gain appreciation to the importance of a qualified business intermediary. He says this role is integral in the buy/sell process.

In pursuit of excellence in his chosen field, Altman earned the top three industry credentials: Merger & Acquisition Master Intermediary (M&AMI), Certified Business Intermediary (CBI), and Certified Merger & Acquisition Professional (CM&AP). Each credential requires specific industry experience, continuing education, success in closing of million dollars transactions and active participation in annual conventions.

A consistent award winner, Altman left a position with GE Medical Sales to pursue his passion for business ownership and purchased a small manufacturing business.
